FDWS Company BBQ

On September 26th, from 7-10pm EST, come and join the staff of Future Droids & Weapons Systems (FDWS) at the Shysa Hunting Lodge on Corellia (/wp 2228, -164 or look for Jerint's Camp on the map), for an evening of fishing, hunting and a bar-b-cue, with live entertainment and fireworks displays!

Since FDWS is looking for new employees, this is partially a recruitment drive (applications should be given to Gwreng), but we're also looking to make new friends in the community, so all are welcome! Bring your friends, your fishing poles, and your hunting gear…because who knows what might show up while we're partying in the woods!

(OOC: FDWS is a "covert Rebel cell with a corporate cover" player association, making an effort to get deeper into role-playing. We're interested in recruiting traders and combat professions alike, and Jedi are welcome as long as they're not overt in public when in character. CEO involved in speeder bike accident.

The CEO of FDWS, Gwreng Masnachwr, has been involved in a horrible speeder bike accident. This has led to an extended absense from the corporation lasting a few weeks.

He was traveling on Tatooine out to Anchorhead when a band of Tusken Raiders jumped him. His speeder bike flailed widly and threw him in a near by womp rat nest. Just as he was about to get up a Tusken slammed a gaffi stick down on to his arm crippling it. Scrambling to his feet he managed to grab the gaffi stick as it was swang for him a second time. This threw the Tusken off balance andgave Gwreng enough time to pull out his blaster and Dispatch the Tusken.

Gwreng was found wondering the desert slightly dilusional from dehydration cradling his arm. He has been on a slow path to recovery and is expected to recieve a cybernetic replacement.

Mining and the Market

FDWS has ramped up mining operations in various sectors over the past few weeks. We maintain a healthy supply of resources and hope to ensure our customers recieve the highest quality resources. Asteroid resources are particularly difficult to mine these days as Asteroid Bandits end up coming in to harass our work crews. As yet we have not run in to any issues with the asteroid bandits as our miners have been able to take them out. However these may become a bigger threat to the work crews and steps will have to be taken to ensure the safety of our miners.

Also FDWS will be setting up a few shops and stalls at Nomad Market on Lok, hope to see you there.

Holonet site service restored

Our Holosite experianced some technical difficulties today. We have restored access to them and our Employee's should be able to continue with business as normal. We are not certain what caused this issue and are investigating.

Corporate Meeting Tonight

This evening we will be conducting our quarterly corporate meeting. We have a lengthy set of topics to discuss here some of them we have addressed others I'm sure that we have left off the list. This will take place at 8:30 EST at the Corporate Estate in the Manufacturing Bunker. Those of you that are unable to make it we will post a transcript of the meeting online.

Accreditdation Program is beginning to take shape.

If you are a crafter, engineer, trader, or merchant we are embarking on an Accreditdation program for non employee crafters. This will provide our employees, and clients with access to greater number of traders and hopefully improve profitablity as we head in to the next quarter.

Contract for Battle Droids

FDWS has signed a contract agreement to provide battle droids to a new customer. We hope that this will be the beginning of a long term relationship. Production is finishing up on these droids and we hope to supply them to the customer as soon as possible.
