Hi all. This is a list of prices for droids and modules that I can sell. I have a decent but still improving stock of resources, so I can't cap most things yet, but I can get close. Please contact me in game if you want to order a droid, or if you have any questions.

The total cost of a droid is the base price of the body from the table below plus the cost of modules, and armor. Personality chips, where available, are free.

Droid Bodies

This table shows the Name of the droid, its base cost, and the following:

C - The number of slots available only for combat modules
CG - The number of slots available for combat or general modules.
G - The number of slots available for general (non-combat) modules.
A - Whether the droid can take armor. (While droids have different numbers of slots for armor, a cap on the effectiveness of the armor can be reached with a single module at about the same cost as can be achieved with multiple weaker modules. So all you really need to know is whether armor is available.)
P - Whether the droid can take a personality chip. These are optional, except for Super Battle Droids, which for whatever reason require one.

Modules - Combat

Combat modules provide combat levels, special attacks, and a small amount of armor for the droid. CL90 can be achieved in as few as 6 modules (although it would probably take me 7 or 8 with my current resources), but additional modules still help by providing additional armor. (Armor does not decrease when a CL90 droid is called as a CL60 droid by a combat profession, so it's useful for everyone.)

Droideka Shield
Damage mitigation buff.
Cost: 3k

Electric Shocker
Electrical attack.
Cost: 3k

Flame Jet
Fire cone attack.
Cost: 3k

Rapid Discharge Batteries
Short-range electrical AoE attack.
Cost: 4k

Regenerative Plating
Self heal.
Cost: 4k

Torture Panel
Acid attack.
Cost: 3k

Modules - General (non-combat)

Auto-Repair
Sends small heal pulses every 10 seconds to all droids in the group. Can stack indefinitely.
Cost: 7k

Crafting Station
The droid, when deployed, acts as a private crafting station of the given type. Types are Clothing, Foods, Ship Components, Structures, and Weapons. Each type is a separate module.
Cost: 1k

Creature Harvesting
The droid improves your skill at harvesting creature resources, and can auto-harvest the creatures for you. This module can stack with no known limit.
Cost: 8k

Detonation 5
The droid can explode, permanently destroying it and causing damage to its target. Only usable by Smugglers and Bounty Hunters. Can stack indefinitely. MSE Droids and LIN Demolitionmech droids get a bonus for each detonation module in them, but Adv. R3 droids still have the most potential power because of the number of modules they can hold.
Cost: 50k

Droid Data Storage
Most importantly, when installed in an Astromech (R2,3,4,5) droid, allows its use in storing and executing commands in space. (The droid can also store draft schematics.)
Cost: 1k * module level (1-6)

Droid Item Storage 6
The droid can store 10 items. Does not stack.
Cost: 6k

Droid Repair
Repairs other droids. Unsure if this can be used in combat (doubtful).
Cost: 3k

Droid Structure Maintenance
The droid can be used to pay maintenance costs on structures you own.
Cost: 6k

Entertainer Effects
Performs a visual effect. Only usable by Entertainers. Effects are Avian, Confetti, Dancing Jawa, Electric Fog, Foam, and Mind Bloom. (Each effect requires a separate module.)
Cost: 1k

Hand Sampling
The droid improves the amount you pull when hand sampling materials. Can stack indefinitely.
Cost: 16k

Playback Module
Can be used by Entertainers to record and replay a piece of music.
Cost: 3k

Armor

Armor occupies a separate slot, and thus doesn't affect the use of any other modules. Armor provides 30 combat levels and a large portion of the droid's total armor (where the rest comes from the combat modules, if any).
Cost: 15k

Personality

Personality chips are optional in some droid chassis (and required in Super Battle Droids). Available personalities are:

Geeky
Prissy
Sarcastic
Slang
Stupid
Worshipful

Cost: Free

Question for you, survey droids do they actually go out to a planet and survey them for you?

Interplanetary Survey Droids aren't really droids in the same sense as most. They're a consumable item. You feed it one survey tool (which is also consumed), and it goes off to a chosen planet. Sometime between roughly 15 minutes and an hour later (depending on quality), it'll send you an email with the names and types of all resources you would be able to see on that planet with if you went there with that survey tool yourself.

Personally, I don't think they're worth it, but some folks do. If you want to play around with them and see what you think, I can toss a few at you... I made a bunch that I'm probably never going to use.

Some info on combat droids for those who aren't familiar with how they work:

Droids can be built up to CL90, similar to characters. You can not call a droid that is more than 5 levels higher than you. A droid's combat stats (except for General Protection, a.k.a. Armor) are completely tied to its CL.

Droids can have up to 6 specials. For Traders, there are up to 3 increasingly powerful levels of each special available (depending on the quality/quantity of the combat modules). Entertainers and combat professions can only use level 1.

When a droid over CL60 is called by an Entertainer or combat profession, its combat stats are scaled down to CL60. This does *not* mean that a level 55 character can call a level 90 droid, however... the 5 level rule applies to the *real* level of the droid.

Armor is the exception to the above... it does not scale down. This means that it's still in a combat profession's best interest to get a high-level droid with high armor. (However, since it's not likely to be able to do enough damage to hold aggro around you, it's up to you how much it really matters.)

Also, I can now make capped (12500 armor) combat droids (cost for FDWS employees is 75k, comes in Super Battle Droid, Guardian Mk II, and CWW8 flavors), as well as capped hand sample droids. I'm close-but-not-quite-capped on creature harvest droids.

A little more combat droid info...

The top combat droid chassis (Super Battle Droid, CWW8, Guardian Mk II) have 9 slots that only take combat modules, plus 3 slots that can take any module. I did a little testing, and found that:

  • A droid with 12 combat modules (12500 general protection) has about 71% damage reduction.
  • A droid with 9 combat modules (10500 general protection) has about 66% damage reduction.

While that 5% sounds fairly small, keep in mind that if you flip it around, it means that the 12-mod droid is taking 29% damage, and the 9-mod droid is taking 34% damage, which means that the weaker droid is actually taking (34-29)/29 = 17% more damage.

Depending on your use, this may or may not be significant. Also keep in mind that you can mix combat and non-combat modules among those last three, so you could, for example, have a single creature harvest module installed to get the benefit of auto-harvest, and have 11 combat modules. While I didn't test that case, I would estimate that such a droid would take only about 3-5% more damage than a 12-module droid. Whether the additional functionality is worth a little more vulnerability is up to you.

(Note: The droid's offensive capabilities cap after about 7 combat modules (less for combat professions), so whether you're a combat or trader profession, the only consideration here is defense.)

Oh, and I think I can cap pretty much any type of droid now.
